Philadelphia Vireo
a seriously far-from-home bird. This vagrant was the talk of the town on e-mail, and drew many local experts to the park on the day we were there. We had a good look at its coloration and eye ring; even so, I would never have made this ID on my own.

Trip Notes
The highlight of this trip was, of course, the philadelphia vireo. Mark has posted some interesting notes on his web site, detailing his further observations of this bird just days after he took us to see it.
