Trip Notes
Bob introduced us to several excellent new birding spots on this Audubon trip. Although we didn't see the elusive Mountain Quail (rapidly becoming a nemesis bird for me), we ended the day with a low-altitude flyover of around a hundred Tundra Swans, their calls mingling with the sound of their wings flapping in the stillness of the sunset.
